Øens Dyr on Masnedø is a charming mini zoo offering a welcoming atmosphere with friendly animals, family-friendly activities, and ample space for campfires, packed lunches, and leisurely moments. Situated in Vordingborg, Øens Dyr features a variety of animals including geese, minipigs, alpacas, goats, ponies, rabbits, reptiles, zebras, sheep, ostriches, small kangaroos, among others. Visitors have the opportunity to pet many of the animals and can also enjoy making bread over a campfire. Additionally, guests are encouraged to bring packed lunches to enjoy at the designated table benches.
Øens Dyr serves as an educational and employment initiative for vulnerable young people who, alongside volunteers, help operate the mini zoo.
