Discover the enchantment of history at the Time Travel Festival held at GeoCenter Møns Klint, one of Denmark's most captivating family destinations on the island of Møn. From June 29th to July 12th, the GeoCenter transforms into a magical time machine that invites families to journey 70 million years into the past with a range of fun and educational activities.
Designed especially for children and their parents or grandparents, this unique festival offers engaging shows, workshops, and concerts that bring ancient history to life. Young explorers can enjoy fossil shows, feel the excitement of dinosaur roars mixed with ancient flute music, and participate in interactive workshops like flint cutting, wool spinning, and wood carving. The festival also features thrilling boat trips along the stunning white cliffs of Møns Klint, enhancing the outdoor experience with breathtaking nature views.
Adding to the excitement, special guests such as Crocodile Zoo, Rav-Anders, Radionauts, and the Økobandet band provide lively performances that engage visitors in entertaining and educational storytelling. Children can collect stamps in their “Time Travel Passport,” creating lasting memories of their adventure-filled days.
Entry to most activities is included with the GeoCenter ticket, which costs 155 DKK for adults and 100 DKK for children ages 3 to 11, with free admission for children under three. Online ticket purchase offers savings and better planning options. The GeoCenter itself offers more than 20 exciting experiences, including guided tours, climbing, mountain biking, and a cozy café serving delicious meals and homemade ice cream.
