Street Art and Sculptures: Næstved Art Town is a city-wide art initiative in Næstved, featuring works created by international artists who would not typically visit the area. This project aims to inspire local youth and brighten up neglected, uninspiring parts of the city through national and international art, with a strong emphasis on graffiti culture.
The centerpiece of the project is a collection of approximately 22 large-scale gable murals spread throughout the city. These murals showcase the talents of renowned international artists including DAIM, TOAST, ARYZ, LOOMIT, and LIMPO, among others. In addition to the gable paintings, several vintage-style bus shelters in and around Næstved have been artistically decorated by creatives such as LIMPO and CMP ONE.
Visitors can explore many of these artworks online, where they will also find detailed information about the artists involved and directions to the different pieces. The website provides further insights into the goals and scope of the project.
